We were asked to share this recipe from the internet for homemade frosty paws. It’s healthy and our dogs love it so much that they only get it when we go to the vet or trim their nails. We now use an old couch which is much easier than bending over on the floor.
32 oz. plain yogurt
1 mashed banana
2 T p’nut butter
2 T honey
Its true dairy products aren’t good for dogs, but yogurt contains much less lactase than regular milk and the live cultures are great for your dog’s digestive system. This dog ice cream recipe is delicious and good for your pet! Other items can be added such as blue berries or tiny pieces of chicken.
Place all these ingredients in a bowl and mix like you’re making mashed potatoes. Spoon into small containers or even into a Kong toy to freeze and serve.
